Hi, I'm Lord Christian Agra!
For nearly two years now, I've been a web developer, and I absolutely love it! The world of web development is constantly changing, with new challenges and solutions popping up all the time. This keeps me excited and eager to learn more. I've always been naturally curious, and that, combined with my love for technology, really fuels my passion for development. There's nothing more satisfying than taking someone's idea and turning it into a website that's clean, works well, and is easy to use.
My Education
I graduated from the Philippine Best Training System Colleges with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. This degree provided me with a strong foundation in computer science principles and web development concepts, which have been instrumental in my growth as a developer.
As part of the Philippines' first K-12 graduating batch, I experienced the challenges of a major educational shift during a global pandemic. This experience instilled in me a strong sense of resilience and the ability to adapt to new situations quickly. These qualities are invaluable assets in the ever-evolving field of web development.
My Accomplishment
In my work, I leverage my expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the powerful front-end library React.js. I also utilize the Next.js framework with Tailwind CSS to create interactive and responsive layouts that adapt seamlessly to any device.
I significantly improved our company website's performance by building a Single Page Application (SPA) experience within a Multi-Page Application (MPA) structure. This unique approach not only boosted speed but also enabled instant theming changes, including colors and images. Furthermore, I implemented clean code practices, optimized images, and improved SEO to enhance our website's visibility and attract more users.
In the past two years, I've actively learned and expanded my skillset, transitioning from WordPress to vanilla JavaScript. I've also explored frameworks like Laravel and ultimately embraced Next.js as our company scales.
My Hobby
Learning isn't just a chore for me, it's a genuine source of joy and excitement. I continuously invest in online courses on platforms like Udemy to expand my knowledge and stay sharp. YouTube channels keep me updated with the latest tech trends, while building personal side projects allows me to solidify my core web development skills and explore new ideas in a practical way. This constant learning keeps me engaged and ensures I'm always bringing the freshest approaches to my work.
Outside of coding, I'm an avid reader of Manhwa and Manhua. I enjoy watching anime, especially stories where the protagonist transforms from an underdog to a hero. This resonates with me because, like those characters, I started with little experience but am constantly motivated to upskill and grow.
